While Florida may be known for its warm weather, hearty plantlife, wildlife and beaches it is interesting to note by looking at a map of the world that Florida resides at the same latitude (distance from the equator) as some of the driest deserts in the world. The Florida eco-sytem provided by 'mother nature' is what makes Florida the enjoyable place we live today.
